Post High Goal Setting
A four year college is not for everyone. There are plenty of jobs in our economy that do not require a four year degree. Many of them are excellent paying jobs. And there are many that are in real demand these days. Jobs like welding, surveying, medical technologists, electricians, carpentry, and plumbing are all ones we are familiar with but with new technologies come some we're not like solar photovoltaic installers, and turbine technicians. Other fields like viticulture, culinary, cosmetology, and fashion all follow a different path as well. There are many careers that pay well (commercial pilot) but require a different path (nuclear medicine tech) than the traditional four year college.
Not going to college can still mean SuccessStudents can find real joy in the workforce. Our community college system, apprenticeship system, and workforce are still designed for people to succeed. Some careers require no additional schooling beyond high school while others require some community college, an apprenticeship, or some other sort of training. As our students develop interests and passions we can help them discover what they might want to do.
There are many careers in medicine other than being a nurse or doctor. Modern medicine has a huge demand for medical technologists, sonogram specialists, x-ray technicians. MRI specialists, and more. The same is true for other fields as well. Construction is a growing industry and demands for people who can do plumbing and electric work are only rising. Designers and sales associates have multiple options to become business owners and to make their visions come to life. Many times our students have begun their own businesses in high school and are ready to continue that in their future. |

I Promise the Best for Your StudentWhen your student is ready to get to work, we can take a look at their goals and determine the path they need to take that will get them to their best future. If that means they are launching their own brand, going to apprentice, or heading to a community college, let's make sure that their future is bright.
